In my work to develop glazes, I have aimed to create something that will do more than simply cover the form. The surfaces that I find most appealing are those that invite your eye to take a closer look. I strive to achieve a balance between simplicity of form and richness of surface and to make something that can be appreciated over time through daily use.

Description of the Event:
I will be hosting an open studio event on 2 Saturdays in December. The 13th and the 20th, 10AM to 3 PM
Contemporary porcelain, with micro-crystalline glazes.
I will be showing some of the new glazes and forms that I have been working on this year along with my familiar micro-crystalline glazed pieces. I hope you’ll be able to join me. There will be Christmas cookies!
