Vermont Artists Practice Green Design

Vermont Artists Practice Energy Conservation

Many Vermont artists are deeply connected to the natural world of Vermont. They express this in many ways, by working with raw materials including clay, wood, metals, glass and fiber.

They recycle business waste, repurpose or reuse materials in their artwork, and incorporate renewable energy sources.

Their artwork reflects the dramatic seasonal changes of the rural Vermont landscape.

Our Mission: The Vermont Crafts Council will create and enhance an appreciation among the public of the quality, beauty, and history of Vermont crafts and artwork to encourage and sustain the creation of original craft and artwork in Vermont.
