Jim Jackson
Paintings, Sculpture, Mixed Media
Jim Jackson is an experimental artist who chooses not to be fenced in by the boundaries of any one medium. Often paintings seem to be evolving into sculptures and sculptures into paintings. Framing has become an integral part of the composition. Sculptures made from wood, recycled materials and the stems and roots of the invasive honeysuckle bush have evolved to include elements of rot and fungi found in the Green Mountain forest landscape surrounding his home and studio.
