Vermont is home to some of the finest crafts people and artists in the country. The unusual beauty of Vermont's countryside and the solitude and peace found here nurture the creative spirit. Our community of 1500 professional crafts people and artists includes quiltmakers, printmakers, potters, furniture makers, metal workers, weavers, painters, and glassblowers.
We invite you to visit us and find out for yourself the value of the hand made object. In an increasingly digital world where fewer people actually create artwork, each hand made object represents human history. The ceramic mugs or piece of furniture that you bring away with you will become family heirlooms, unique and useful, complete with the story of their purchase, whether at a gallery or craft fair, or straight from the studio.
Please use this website to find pictures, information, links to websites and e-mail for our 300 members. Use the buttons below to see lists of craft art businesses by category. For information about programs and membership use the links to the left.
