Member Page – Or Member Web Page – The web page on vermontcrafts.com that shows basic information about a member including business name, contact name, address, phone, four words describing art work, e-mail link, and website link. Registered Open Studio participants who are not members will have a "member page" and may have a thumbnail image only through Open Studio but will not be able to have an enhanced page.
Thumbnail Images - Small images that members may have posted in the gallery section of the sort by category pages on the VCC Website. Thumbnail images may either be smaller versions of images on an enhanced page or may only load in the gallery section. Thumbnail images, when clicked, open member pages. Only members and participants in Open Studio have images on the site.
Gallery Section – The upper part of the following pages: Artisans by Media, Artisans by Region, Shops and Galleries and Education. The gallery section contains all thumbnail images in the specific category sorted alphabetically by business name.
Enhanced Page – Member web page with one image or five images, captions and 100 words of text. Images also load as thumbnail images in the gallery section of each media page. Enhanced pages require additional fees and are only available to members.
Renewal Date – This is the year and month (in that order), that member benefits and services will be extended until. Renew before the last day of the month to keep benefits in force without interruption.
Metatags – Also called Search Words, are several words that someone might use to search for your artwork. All member or Open Studio pages have search strings that include Art, Craft, and Vermont.
