Stone Soldier Pottery Ltd

The Stone Soldier Pottery is located in rural Jacksonville, and exemplifies the Vermont tradition of individuality. We make pottery with the potter's wheel, and use the up-to-date techniques of a contemporary pottery. Each piece reflects the skill, experience and taste of the maker.

Our pottery is decorated by hand. Glazes are applied by hand dipping and pouring. Then the pottery is loaded into the kiln and reduction fired to bring out the finest variegated colors and mottled textures.

The firing takes a full day, during which the kiln reaches temperatures in excess of 2300 degrees Farenheit. It cools for two days before being opened.

Stone Soldier pottery is lead-free, oven proof, microwave and dishwasher safe.
