Collective - The Art of Craft
Collective - the Art of Craft is a twelve member cooperative craft gallery located in the heart of Woodstock, Vermont. Since 2006, Collective has been featuring a sublime collection of locally and regionally hand made wearable, decorative and functional items. On any given day you could be greeted by a jeweler, glass artist, weaver, potter, photographer, wood worker, lamp smith or a fabric artist. During the 2011 Open Studio Weekend, Collective will be featuring an enamel jewelry demonstration in the gallery by founding member Lynn Adams. Visitors to the gallery can watch Lynn apply the powdered enamel in thin layers onto wet metal and then quickly fired in an enamel kiln.
