Norton's Gallery For the past 30 years Norton's whimsical wooden sculptures of dogs, cats, birds, fish, flowers and vegetables have delighted children and adults alike. Norton's wood carved dogs include more than 80 breeds and he has does many commissioned pieces of the family dog and cat, working from personal photos. His bird carvings represent over 100 species, including cardinals, hummingbirds, bluebirds, and the Vermont State Bird, the Hermit Thrush. Our 2,000 square foot retail gallery is located one mile south of the Fort Ticonderoga Ferry--a 30 minute drive from Middlebury and only 15 miles plus a short ferry ride from Lake George.
