Neumann Studios Stained Glass At Neumann Studios, we design and fabricate inspirational heirloom quality stained glass. We are a full service studio, offering consultation, design, fabrication and installation, as well as restoration services. We work primarily by commission. We are a small studio by intention, yet we offer a wide variety of design and technique options through the combined talents of Rick Neumann and Liza King. We frequently use kiln-fired paintwork in our pieces because painting gives depth and richness to the glass, creating shadows and textures unable to be obtained with unpainted glass. As seen by examples dating back to the Middle Ages, painted glass can last over one thousand years.
