Mary Ellen Manock
Mary Ellen Manock has lived in Vermont for 24 years. On the Art's Alive board for ten years she found the Burlington art scene to be a community building experience with people who are open and celebratory of Vermont artists.
Mary Ellen's inspiration comes through organic and environmental subjects. She started painting in oil at nine, watercolor at fourteen, and minored in Art (Biology major) in College. Mary Ellen's work and approach have evolved and she continues to pursue new media: print making (Burlington City Arts), book making (Book Arts Guild) and jewelry making (Shelburne Crafts School).¥Her work can be found at ECHO for Lake Champlain, Vermont Respite House, and Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington.
