Lucian Avery - Blacksmith
Lucian Avery designs and forges early American hardware and one of a kind commissioned pieces. He sees blacksmithing as a living art and strives to bring human warmth into contemporary homes. He has been a "Master Artist" in the Vermont Folklife Center apprenticeship program, taught blacksmithing at the Shelburne Museum and was the founding president of the Green Mountain Blacksmith's Association.Ornamental, Functional Metalwork
