Karen Deets Stained Glass

My fascination of glass is a response to its qualities of intense color, affected by light, and its ability to create a spiritual feeling of total focus. Kiln fired elements of fused and painted pieces allow an expression of finer details and subtleties. The subjects are an evolution of lifetime themes of nature, mountains and the added fantasy of playful visible spirits. Abstract work expresses form and line inspired by architecture and industrial forms.
After 30+ years of glass experience in NJ and owning an American craft gallery, I am now fulfilling a soulful desire to immerse myself in glass art.
