Diane Gabriel

Diane Gabriel moved to Vermont from
her native New York City in 1970, earning a degree from Vermont's
Goddard College in 1975, Gabriel has continued to live, work and
teach in Vermont since that time. Exhibited internationally since
1976, Gabriel's work is held in both private and public collections
including The University of Vermont's Fleming Museum. She has twice
been awarded Individual Artist Grants from The Vermont Arts Council
and in 2002 became the first recipient of Burlington City Art's
Barbara Smail Award.
