Historically, book arts skills derive from the traditions of calligraphy, hand-made and hand-decorated paper, hand-sewn binding, and pop-up constructions. See how 17 contemporary artists interpret these traditions in new and exciting ways in this display featuring 50 contemporary handmade books!
May 2: Opening reception, 1-4 pm
May 8: Hands-on workshop: "Pop-up Books" with Ann Joppe-Mecure, 1:30-3 p.m.
May 29-30: Open Studio Weekend, 10 am - 5 pm
Hours: Thurs, 4-7 pm; Friday, 2-7 pm, Sat, 12- 6 pm; Sun, 12-3 pm
Admission: Free, except for workshop.
