Brattleboro Clayworks
Brattleboro Clayworks is Southern Vermont's ceramics resource center. Founded in 1983, Clayworks seeks to increase access to ceramic media for the southeastern Vermont, northwestern Massachusetts, and southwestern New Hampshire communities.
We provide and maintain:
A professional studio space and equipment to our members and renters.
Classes and workshops for people ranging from interested beginners to aspiring clay artists.
A gallery where the public can view and purchase functional pottery, sculpture, and ceramic tiles created by the members.
A commitment to community outreach.
Clayworks sponsors an Empty Bowls Dinner as a fundraiser for a local food shelter, and participates in the Brattleboro Gallery Walk on the first Friday of the month.
