Vermont Crafts Council News
The Vermont Arts Council will honor four Vermonters for their work on behalf of the Vermont arts community. This year two of the four are leaders in the Vermont crafts community, Susan Farrow, director of the Vermont State Craft Centers at Frog Hollow at Middlebury, Manchester, and Burlington, and Martha Fitch, director of the Vermont Crafts Council. Citations will be presented on March 20 in Montpelier during Arts Advocacy Day. Join us to celebrate the event and make an appointment with your legislator to tell them the importance of funding for tourism and small business.
The Vermont Crafts Council Annual Meeting will be held on April 5. The topic of discussion this year will include Creativity: Strategies for Keeping the Flame Alive. In addition we will have experts on the topic of the World Wide Web available for small group discussion.
