"The Vermont Crafts Council will create and enhance an appreciation among the public of the quality, beauty, and history of Vermont crafts and artwork in order to encourage and sustain the creation of original craft and art work in Vermont."
Welcome to the Vermont Crafts Council's website.
We are 22 in 2012!
Spring Open Studio Weekend marks the 20th Year of the Vermont Crafts Council's production of this event. We are planning a celebration of the central role of the studio in the life of artists. This will include stories from artists who have opened their studios for years, and from people who have toured studios, who treasure the event. Please check back for updates. To contribute your own story, email vt1crafts@aol.com.
Below, find our current members, over 300 Vermont craftspeople, artists, galleries, and educational organizations with their pictures, links to e-mail and websites. Teaching artist information is shown on the Education page.
