Go to the bottom of the hill and turn right at the light. Go straight through the next light (you will be on Sias Avenue and Darling Hill Rd.), continue straight to the fork in the road, bear right and go 2.5 miles. We are located in the little valley at the bottom of the hill. Look for a white house with red shutters on the right; the fiber art studio is in the red barn across the road. From Rte 100, drive through Newport. As you leave downtown the road forks, stay to the left and go straight across the bridge. Turn left at the end of the bridge, go through two sets of lights and you will be on Sias Avenue and Darling Hill Rd.; follow the directions above.

Stay on Rte 111 past Lake Seymour and Allie's Market. Travel 0.2 of a mile past the market and turn left on Toad Pond Rd. Travel 1 mile to arrive at Birds in Wood on the right. From Newport take 105 East toward Derby and the T intersection and follow the directions from the T as above.

Take the immediate right onto Gratton Hill Rd. (gravel). Go about 1 mile. Pass a long, red barn on the left and take the left fork onto Streeter Rd. Go up the hill about a mile to the end of the road. My studio is in the rear of the house.

From Newport, turn right on Rte 105 at the junction in Derby and go through East Charleston. Just before the concrete bridge that marks the Clyde River fishing access there will be a sign for the Northwoods Center on the right and a sign for the Ten Mile Square Road on the left. Turn left and go 1.4 miles. Driveway will be on the left. From Lyndonville, take Rte 114 towards Island Pond. At the junction of Rtes 114 & 105, turn left towards Newport. In about 5 miles there will be a sign for the Northwoods Center on the right, followed by a sign for the fishing access and then one for the Ten Mile Square Road. Turn right and go 1.4 miles. Driveway will be on the left.

On I-91, take exit 24 and turn onto Rte 122W. Travel west for 13 miles. Or take exit 25 onto Rte 16 and go south through Glover to Rte 122.

Travel approximately 2.5 miles, passing Highland Lodge on your right, Gebbie Rd. on the right and North Shore Rd on your left. After passing North Shore, pass a small sugar house on the right. The driveway for 2254 Craftsbury Rd is the next right turn. A sign for DALES and 2254 is on a tree at start of drive.

Turn left onto Lake Rd and go for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Cook Hill Rd. Turn right at the first driveway and park at the end.

Turn right at the Police Station onto Center Rd and go for 5 miles. At the four corners, go straight. Lakeview is one mile on the right, coming down the hill into the village. Parking is at the inn sign out front.

When the speed limit reduces to 30, before Greensboro Village, take a sharp right onto Country Club Rd. Go 0.5 miles past the club. The Greensboro Barn is visible on the left.
